All levels. Dancers, acrobats, performers, and anyone who wishes to enhance their physical exploration.
Movement 360°
In this workshop, we will focus on a present, active, and versatile body. We will work on essential foundations of contemporary dance to create a broad base for mapping the body’s territory. We will use acrobatic resources that integrate a multiplicity of directions, exploring the backspace and different levels, creating tools to think of the body in 360°. The practice has a physical and technical approach, while we also explore through various prompts to reach states of maximum creativity in improvisation. A map of weights, tones, extensions, and rhythms will serve as our base for exploration. We will approach the process both individually and collectively, creating a space to explore and share ideas. We will work on how, what, and why to document our performance. We will unlock the path to the scenic state, overcoming blocks and enhancing personal investigation and the essential dance of each participant.
