The result of years of work and experimentation by Cia Moveo in creative or educational fields, the company manages to create works based on movement that, despite their complexity, are accessible to the public. This work, based on physical dialogue, allows us to understand movement and physical actions as a relational and creative tool that opens up new creative and interpretive paths. The aim of this training is to transmit and experience the Cia's physical dialogue tools I move and allow these to be part of the participants' processes.

Contents:

- Relationship between body and person of the performer.

- Actions and movement in the context of exploration and material generation.

- Use of the relationship with gravity, of the opposition or complicity of weight in the dialogue in the relationship with the other.

- The pause and the articulation of the sentence as a principle of communication

- Exploration of the possibilities of the expressive body without displacement, the relationship between internal movement and external movement.

- Use of guidelines in improvisations

Methodology: The sessions will be structured around research dynamics. Work guidelines will be proposed so that the participant can discover, from practice, how these tools help to develop creative work and create temporal, spatial and emotional dialogue relationships.

The proposed work is born from formality to reach, through the participant's bodily experience, to create a connection between movement and interpretation. It is about understanding how the work of physical dialogue allows us to recognize the situations, the objectives in the body, when they are already formulated by the movement of the performer. The training ends with an informal sharing of the sum of the exercises explored in a jam session.

The workshop is given by Stephane Levy, Co-director of Cia Moveo and of MOVEO - creation and training center, as well as a teacher at the Escola Superior d'Art Dramátic de Barcelona and the Conservatorio Superior de Dansa de Barcelona (Institute of Theater).

He was a member of the Théâtre de l'Ange Fou company in London from 1999 to 2002. Since 2004 he has directed and acted in productions by Cia Moveo, with which he has won several awards. He has taught courses for festivals, schools and companies, such as Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Central School of Speech and Drama, London International Mime Festival, Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, Escoles Superiors d'Art Dramatic de Valencia and Vigo, Popular Conservatory of Geneva and the Association of Actors of the Balearic Islands, among others.

As a specialist in body mime and physical theatre, he has directed projects, courses and workshops for various international organizations and also directs projects for the Barcelona Theater Institute. CIA MOVEO brings to international stages a work of creation that explores the narrative possibilities of the body and the expressive richness of movement.

Far from illustration through gestures, and also far from an abstract plasticity of the body separated from theatricality, Cia Moveo researches and works on the development of a physical language that constantly seeks the connection between various disciplines. The company, based in Barcelona, creates shows that, through delicate body work and great narrative poetics, demonstrate the communicative power of their work on stage and in public spaces. It also combines its shows with workshops and courses for all audiences.
