KUNE: Movement method

KUNE is a method of movement and training that allows us to improve our knowledge of our body using tools that come from dance and martial arts. The objective is to discover, investigate and develop our instinct, consciousness and physical abilities.

This method questions the boundaries between disciplines and the relationship between body and mind. Emotions are not ignored or qualified as positive or negative, on the contrary: they are observed and channeled, turning them into tools of expression. At KUNE, observation and dialogue within partner work are key elements for self-knowledge.

Kernel Dance Theater

Kernel Dance Theater is a contemporary dance company, based in Barcelona and formed by Junyi Sun, Alma Steiner and Marina Miguel, develops its own language integrating contemporary dance, martial arts and theater. The company's work is born with the aim of making the viewer reflect and discover new points of view on current affairs and contemporaneity. Their projects have been present in various centers and festivals such as La Pedrera, Sismògraf, Fira Tàrrega, Frei Art Festival, among others.
