PROJECTem: accompanied creation
EIGHTH EDITION
If you have any questions, write to us nunart.creacions@gmail.com
What is PROJECTem accompanied creation and what's new this season 24/25?
This season, PROJECTem will work on forming a stable group of artists who work regularly from October to May. This project offers the opportunity to delve into a creative process sustained over time.
The accompaniment of all phases of the process is essential and is carried out from a procedural, feminist perspective and promoting diversity and artistic singularities. Containing, communicating, empathizing and accompanying in a demanding way are the bases of the mentoring proposal. This creation laboratory is designed to foster an environment of experimentation and artistic growth, where artists can assume different roles and discover new perspectives. Through this approach, PROJECTem not only seeks the creation of pieces of scenic works, but also the personal and professional enrichment of the participants, offering the spaces for practice and support necessary to carry out their projects in the future.
In this edition of PROJECTem_8 we immerse ourselves in a different proposal with the intention of dedicating more time to research, exploration and consolidation of the group without leaving aside the creation and public presentation of the pieces.
The proposal is divided into two phases:
The first phase (October to December) is designed for exploration, research and group integration.
The second phase (February to April) is designed to get involved, enter and immerse yourself in the creation and presentation of a performance piece.
In the first phase, we focus on getting to know each other, discovering roles and materials that we are interested in investigating, as well as identifying the desires and aspirations of the participants. We will explore the roles they would like to take on and begin to form work teams.
Towards the end of the first phase, if the group decides, there will be the possibility of presenting a work in progress sample, to share progress and receive feedback.
During the month of January there will be a break and we will meet again in February to resume work and immerse ourselves in the second phase, where we will have three months exclusively dedicated to the creation process. During this phase, we will work on the creations that arose from the wishes of the participants during the first phase. It is possible that one or several collectives/working groups will be formed, where different roles will be assumed, such as direction, interpretation, dramaturgy, text, lighting or sound design, to develop and stage what has been researched and explored in the previous phase.
The focus will be on a concrete creation process, with the aim of finishing the proposed pieces. During this phase, we will apply the tools and knowledge acquired in the first phase, ensuring that each participant can make the most of their potential and creativity. During the first phase, there will be time to profile and assemble the teams according to the roles, desires and interests of each one, thus ensuring that each participant finds their place and contributes fully to the creative process.
We maintain that there are different ways of creating and going through creative processes, that is why we propose this proposal with a sensitive listening to previous editions, taking into account that everything can be mutated and transformed, but defending the intention of generating a safe space for meeting, reflection and exploration for its creation.

PROJECTem: presentations
At nunArt we believe that being able to exhibit and share the works enriches and consolidates links, processes and strengthens the possibility of growing in different perspectives. Thus, another strong point of this platform is the presentation of the works, finished or in process, both from the group accompanying the creation, as well as other pieces that need visibility.
