Dance and presence as a research practice through the Body-Mind Centering® methodology.

Detailed movement sessions, inviting the mind to explore through the body, through visualizations to somatize (bring to the body) and IN_CORPORATE the information in experience.

You will work through the body's systems (muscular, fascial, skeletal, nervous...) and you will be opened to reflect with movement. Transcending the layers of what we know, as a practice, again and again, renewing, resting in the process of self-knowledge and re-patterning through dance and movement.

The axis will be the presence, compass of our feeling.

Alba Raventós

Teacher, Somatic and Living Arts researcher. Co-Director and founder of the Ara en Moviment Association. Graduated in Occupational Therapy from (Autonomous University of Barcelona) she graduated in Post-Graduate Integrative Body Work (INEF), trained in Estimulatione Basale®, and certified in Body Mind Centering® in Berlin at the Moveos School.

Founded and co-directs Ara en Moviment for the dissemination of dance, contact improvisation and somatic practices as tools for social and cultural transformation since 2016. Carrying out international festivals and European training programs.

Researches and practices the performance co-creating Topless America (2017) with Deria Rectificadora Col·lectiu, shown for two years at l'Estruch, Antic Teatre, Soma, Contemporanis de la Barceloneta, Move Fest (Slovakia), Asturias Contact Festival. Crea El Timo (performance-reading) 2021 shown at Teatre Pere Casals (Sant Esteve de Palautordera), Festival Aquí i Ara (Segur) and Teatre Pere Casals (Calafell). He currently teaches practice at Enestudio, Casa Elizalde. Generate a Rebel Body program to deepen presence through somatics and thought.

He currently researches in participatory performative creations and installations about the body and somatics and everything that becomes a reflection of society in our treatment. Brussels 2023 shows Performance Art Assembly.
