Description of the activity

During the classes we will focus on the exploration of acrobatic movement through improvisation and fixed material. We will explore the weight relationship between the head and the pelvis and all the ways to invest these two points in space. We will look for organicity in the investment, the way to take advantage of gravity.

The class is designed to be a safe space for all, then we will work a lot on progression, listening and mutual help between the attendees. We will also explore the beginning and end of acrobatics in order to blur the line between dance and acrobatic movement.

Objective: To offer each participant tools to develop their own acrobatic practice and nurture their vocabulary of movement, from play, curiosity and fun.
