The axis that articulates the training I propose is the direction of attention. Through different dynamics and improvisation exercises, we will create a space of observation and presence where we can explore how we can modulate attention; from an internal and somatic place to an external and performative one, including the group and inviting to be seen. We will go through proposals based on practices that have nurtured me as a dancer and that keep me interested in movement and the potential of dance, both from a more technical and bodywork point of view, and from a more open one that close to imagination and expressiveness.
Víctor Pérez Armero
An international dancer, he has collaborated with artists such as Renan Martins, Alma Söderberg, Eleanor Bauer, Deborah Hay, and Jefta Van Dinther, among others. He has been part of the companies Hiatus / Daniel Linehan (Belgium) and Cullberg (Sweden), and of the Catalan productions "Flamingos" by Albert Quesada and "Rèquiem Nocturn" by Pere Faura (2020 Critic's Award for best dancer).
Trained in contemporary dance and performing arts at P.A.R.T.S., although his beginnings are in roots dance and popular culture. He understands the practice of movement as an opportunity and a resource to think beyond traditional structures and challenge normative standards.
His latest choreographic creation "Rel i Grapa" - in collaboration with his brother and percussionist Raúl Pérez Armero - premiered at Fira Mediterrània 2023.
